Three 4-Star Hotel

Béchar, Tamanrasset and Constantine, Algeria

Competition

The aim of the competition was to create three 4-star hotels with the same functional characteristics in the cities of Béchar, Tamanrasset and Constantine.

The morphology and semantics of each receptive structure adapts itself to the context, looking for pretexts and design conditions, both formal and functional, in relation to the city where it is positioned; from the more urban and hilly surroundings, as in Constantine, to the desert terrain of Béchar and the oasis of Tamanrasset. In this way the architecture tries to reflect, in its formal games of light and colour, the environment and the culture of the place where it is inserted. (with Fabris & Partners)
